Experience
Mike Wolverton joined First Financial Bank Dec. 2011, bringing with him 25 years of banking, management, and leadership experience. Mr. Wolverton is responsible for the Consumer Line of Business for the bank which includes all portfolio Real Estate and non-Real Estate loan production, growth, and profitability. Mr. Wolverton works closely with each First Financial Regional President to build and grow consumer teams within their regional footprint. Mr. Wolverton began his career in 1987 with Wells Fargo Financial holding multiple positions as a Branch, District, Regional, and Divisional SVP.
Education
Mr. Wolverton graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor of Business Administration – BBA focused in Marketing/Marketing Management.
Activities
Mr. Wolverton is actively involved in the Abilene Country Club currently serving as the President of the Abilene Board of Directors. Mr. Wolverton has also served as a board member for the Abilene Food Bank of West Central Texas.
