Konrad S. Halbert, Regional President

With nearly 30 of experience, Konrad is the Fort Worth area manager and East Region President for First Financial Trust, where he is responsible for business development and trust, estate, and retirement plan relationship management.
Formerly a Vice President in the trust division at Frost National Bank, he joined First Financial Trust in 2005, as a senior Vice President and established the Fort Worth office.
Konrad has earned his bachelor’s degree as well as a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from Texas Christian University. He was a TCU M.J Neeley Graduate School of Business Scholar, graduating in the top 10 percent of his class. He was also an adjunct finance professor at TCU’s business school for 10 years and is active in the university’s alumni association and the TCU Frog Club.
In addition, Konrad is a graduate of the Texas Bankers Association Trust School at Southern Methodist University and the TBA Management Development Program.
Professional organization memberships include the Fort Worth Business and Estate Planning Council, and the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association. Konrad Is the Chair of the Alliance for Children Board and the chairman of the organization’s Investment Committee. He is a member of the Texas Bankers Association Trust Administration Council and currently serves as chairman-elect of the Council.
